Stacey is the author of the well received book "Confident By Choiceâ„¢".
Stacey has been teaching dog training since 2005. In the Spring of 2007 she became an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. She and her Aussies have trained in Agility, Rally, Freestyle, Tracking, K9 Nose Work, Parkour, and Tricks - they are always looking for new things to try.
In August 2012, Stacey became a Certified Trick Dog Trainer (CTDI) and in 2013 her current Aussie earned his Champion Trick Dog Title. In September 2015, Stacey obtained the CPTD-KA designation by applying her experience to the formal test.
In December 2019, she added a different modality to help dogs when she became an Animal Reiki Master.
Stacey continues to take classes and try new activities to stay current with the ever evoloving world of dog training and sports. Her philosophy about dog training is that it should always be fun for both the dog AND the handler.
