Karen Holik is a One Mind Dog agility coach, competitor and the founder of On Course Agility, located in Florida.

In the early 90s Karen saw an agility demo and decided to try it with her chow/sheltie mix Simon.  In 2007, Karen decided to leave her position at a legal firm to focus on agility full time.  Since that time, Karen has been a force in the agility community.  She is a 15 time USA World Team Member with multiple dogs at multiple heights.  She is a 5 time National Champion, Gold, Silver and Bronze medalist at numerous World championships for multiple organizations (WAO, FCI, IFCS).

Karen’s believes fundamental skills and consistency are crucial to a team’s success.  Her training philosophy focuses on the “team relationship”. Her ability to make small adjustments to the handlers skills leads to a better understanding by the dog increasing confidence, speed and success for the team.

Karen states, “I love teaching all dogs/handlers no matter what level or aspiration. Whether they never intend to enter a trial or aspire to be on a world team. I want everyone to enjoy this sport with their dog as much as I do.”

Karen shares her life with her husband Eric, his Sheltie Jiggy, and her Border Collies Zenn, Kidd, and Starr.
