ADCH NATCH4 TC's Red October

"Boomer"

Boomer was bred by Karen Redinger of Richlandtown, PA. He was born on June 2, 2000. I picked Boomer up when he was 8 weeks old. My friend, Karen Gasco-Cummins, threw a puppy shower for my boy in August. Although I never owned a Border Collie before, I wanted a dog to play ball and/or frisbee with and the research that I did resulted in me wanting a BC. When Boomer was around 6 months old, I realized he needed more excercise, so I looked into agility classes.
After being bitten by the agility bug, Boomer and I started entering local agility trials. In August of 2005 at the Keystone Agility NADAC trial, Boomer earned his first championship-the NADAC NATCH! To date Boomer has earned 4 NATCHes and 3 Versatility NATCHes. In 2008, he added the USDAA championship title - the ADCH to his list of accomplishments!
Boomer, now a veteran dog at 8 years old, is enjoying playing agility at 16". He continues to speed around the course barking with excitement!

In February 2008, Boomer underwent radiation treatment for cancer in his right rear leg.
So far his regular checkups continue to show him as cancer free.
